PSE's Engineering Operations team is looking for qualified candidates to fill an open Records Management Analyst position!

Job Description

As a Records Management Analyst, you'll be at the forefront of building and refining a records management program that keeps the company compliant, efficient, and future-ready. You'll dig into the details—conducting inventories, crafting retention schedules, and designing taxonomies—while playing a key role in modernizing how records are stored and accessed through enterprise content management (ECM) solutions. If you enjoy solving puzzles, improving processes, and helping others navigate information systems with confidence, this role offers the perfect blend of analytical rigor and hands-on impact.

Job Responsibilities

  • Assists in the development and administering of the Records and Information Management program to ensure compliance.
  • Performs research around records retention schedules and works with users to understand records management needs and suggest appropriate strategies and solutions.
  • Assists in the development, awareness and training, through various methods such as education and collaborating with marketing, and trains user departments in the policies and procedures of the Records and Information Management program at PSE.
  • Collaborates with IT, the user community or external service providers to identify requirements for document/records management systems and assures all agreements and commitments are met.
  • Complies with records management processes and procedures to add value and strengthen business strategies.
    • Works with off-site storage vendor(s) to assure PSE requirements and goals are met in daily operations.
    • Works with PSE purchasing on off-site storage contracts to minimize costs and obtain excellent service.
    • Works to archive and retrieve existing physical records, as appropriate.

Performs other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Associates degree in related discipline or equivalent combination of education and/or coursework/training in records management, business law, and/or computer technology.
  • 2 years experience in records retention or information management, or similar role.
  • Knowledge of records management principles and practices, and records and information management technology applications.
  • Experience with Microsoft SharePoint or Enterprise Content Management Systems (OpenText, FileNet, etc.)
  • Experience performing project management and/or business analysis work.
  • Proven analytical and problem solving skills.
  • Operates under general supervision.
  • Excellent oral, written and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills, efficiency and attention to detail.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office programs.

Desired Qualifications

  • Certified Records Manager (CRM), Certified Information Professional (CIP), or Electronic Records Management (ERMx) certification or equivalent.
  • Experience working in a corporate setting or utility/energy company.
  • Experience designing and deploying Microsoft SharePoint or Enterprise Content Management Systems (OpenText, FileNet, etc.)

The pay range for this position is $59,300.00 - $92,100.00, and this position is eligible for annual goals based incentive bonuses.
