PSE's Electric Operations team is looking for qualified candidates to fill an open Sr Asset Maintenance Planner position!

Job Description

Responsible for the oversight, control, improvement and planning of the scheduling/maintenance management process for assigned asset(s).

Upholds the safety compliance standards inherent in PSE’s operating and/or field procedures related to work responsibilities. Promotes and supports a culture of total safety.

Job Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the daily oversight, control and improvement of the work management process of one or more assets.
    • Coordinates with crew and management personnel on work identification, planning, scheduling, close-out and analysis for modifications and optimization of related resources.
    • Attends and participates in the bi-monthly construction/schedule P6 meeting with Supervisors, Project Managers, Engineers, etc.
    • Maintains, monitors, updates, and/or corrects issues associated records/documentation, and ensures compliance with operating standards and procedures, as well as government regulations with assistance from the appropriate SME.
    • Provides relevant information required for reporting, audits, inspections and/or renewals, and other related activities.
    • Completes planning and provides annual list of preventative and corrective activities based on resource availability.
    • Works with TFS Engineers to create accurate procedures for all related activities within SAP Plant 
  • Responsible for Compliance deadlines related to releasing and overseeing completion of maintenance to meet deadlines related to Battery compliance maintenance plans and Cascade Substation profile compliance.
  • Leads the annual review and improvement of work management roles and responsibilities.
  • Resource levels the annual schedules.
  • Develops, maintains, implements and presents work management data analysis tools and key performance indicators. 
  • Responsible for the process to ensure on-going review and accuracy of all preventive jobs and including process reviews and improvements.
  • Participates in meetings and direct communication with Supervisors, Foreman and Inspectors related to planned maintenance, planned capital projects and unplanned work, 
  • Provides training on related systems and/or processes, and maintains all required documentation.
  • Responds to emergency situations as required. May perform shift work and weekend duty as needed.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Other Job Responsibilities Include:

  • Review/close-out of SAP notifications, both for planned and unplanned work/maintenance.
  • Update monthly resource plan and crew changes.
  • Create, review and close-out O&M orders, review and closeout notifications and capital orders.
  • Update SAP equipment records, substation functional locations, maintenance plans.
  • Resolve SAP data issues (equipment status, functional location updates, etc.)
  • Monthly reporting, including O&M and Capital budget/forecast/actual spend, overtime, monthly FTE changes, crew call-out, new equipment for testing/acceptance, metric reporting, etc. 
  • Prepare/review budget forecast and attend monthly meetings; update budget tool BPC.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in project/construction/operations management, engineering, business, economics, or equivalent combination of education and/or experience.
  • 7 years experience in maintenance planning/operations related to an industrial workplace.
  • Advanced experience with spreadsheets and databases.
  • Experience with SAP Plant Maintenance module or similar.
  • Experience with computer maintenance management system (CMMS).
  • Knowledge of heavy industrial equipment or other mechanical background.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • For gas roles: Qualified operator status for specific plant(s).

Desired Qualifications

  • Understanding of Critical Path Method (CPM) planning and scheduling processes and resource leveling concepts.
