PSE's IT Application Solutions team is looking for qualified candidates to fill an open Sr. SAP PI/PO Development Analyst position!

Job Description

This role is to develop and maintain SAP integration with non-SAP systems. SAP systems includes SAP ECC (ERP), Customer Relationship Management (CRM), Business Warehouse (BW), Business Intelligence (BI), Process Integration (PI), SAP Solution Manager, SAP HANA, Cloud solutions including Ariba, SuccessFactors etc.

Job Responsibilities

• Configuring, designing, mapping and monitoring of SAP PI components.
• SAP PI/PO Integration could serve as technical lead on various implementation, upgrades, and enhancement projects
as assigned, as well as to act as a mentor in developing, coaching and encouraging of other technical team members within
IT.
• Performs complex and demanding tasks dealing with the analysis, design, configuration, development and
implementation of solutions serving business line and functional units.
• Maintains or develops complex application components (analysis, design, development and implementation of
solutions) based on functional requirements
• Leads coordination, facilitating interactive analysis and design sessions with representatives of business line and
functional units.
• Carries out detailed system design and writes functional and technical requirements/specs, develops test plans and
applies testing, and quality monitoring procedures.
• Provides guidance to business and functional units in developing tests and training plans and materials.
• Provides day-to-day support to users and to lower-level developers, as well as drives improved user productivity
through developing and implementing new business process and systems solutions.
• Leads other team members, as required during the development cycle of assigned projects.
• Provides guidance to business and functional units in developing tests and training plans and materials.
• Responsible for the identification and resolution of gaps in the business processes. Is involved in security/authorization
set-up, user documentation, data interface design, data migration and reconciliation.
• Specifies and applies testing and quality monitoring procedures.
• Provides necessary coordination, facilitating interactive analysis and design sessions with representatives of business
line and functional units.
• Contributes to annual and 5-year capital IT budgets.
• Proactively contributes to the overall IT strategy via direct experience in tactical projects and specific user
requirements.

Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration or equivalent hands-on experience.
  • General IT experience: 6+ years IT experience, including several years of systems development experience in the design and development of department-wide or enterprise-wide applications.
  • Detailed understanding and 5+ years programming languages (specialized technical requirements as shown in attachment) and strong knowledge of office applications (e.g. Microsoft Office).
  • Possesses full technical knowledge of phases of software development life cycle.
  • Experience with at least two full life cycle implementations of a new application or purchased application.
  • Extensive knowledge of multiple languages, i.e (specialized technical requirements as shown in attachment) environment, active business processes, business areas, as well as industry.
  • Knowledge of systems and/or business analysis design concepts. Demonstrated proficiency in the applied use of systems and process analysis tools. Full system life cycle experience, including development lifecycle methodologies.
  • Demonstrated understanding of Structured Query Language (SQL).
  • Ability to facilitate interactive design and functional specification sessions.
  • Highly developed interpersonal, written and verbal skills with an ability to express complex technical concepts in business terms. Excellent technical writing and system documentation skills.
  • Strong analytical problem-solving, and conceptual skills.
  • Demonstrated project management skills for moderate sized projects.
  • Must be a “team player” able to work with management in developing and implementing new processes and enabling systems.  Able to work with end user groups to define application needs and identify feasible solutions.
  • Proactive, self-motivated with the ability to motivate others and a customer-focused service attitude.
  • Good organizational skills, with the ability to meet objectives and effectively multi-task.
  • Ability to work with multiple levels of the organization, both technical and non-technical.
Desired Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 10 years of experience or equivalent combination of education and/or experience.
• 8-10 years of experience working in Various SAP PI / PO versions including 7.x.
• 2 to 3 years of experience in MCF (Multi Channel Foundation) and SAP cloud platform integration.
• The PI/PO developer understands overall SAP enterprise system landscape and involved in different phases of project
lifecycle including prototype, requirement gathering, design, configuration, testing and go live.
• Developing end to end interfaces with knowledge in design and configuration of SAP PI components.
• Experience in developing different mappings including Graphical, Java, XSLT and ABAP mappings.
• Configuring File, FTP, SFTP HTTP/HTTPs, PROXY, IDOC, SOAP, JDBC adapters with SAP PI/PO as messaging service

• Experience in integrating PI with SAP application systems using ABAP proxies, IDOCs, RFCs, SOAP web services,
REST web services.
• Integration of SAP Multichannel Foundation for Utilities (MCF) with an existing web based self-service customer portal
solution.
• Experience in using SAP NetWeaver Gateway Service Builder to extend and modify the standard delivered MCF
OData services across both CRM and ECC.
• Strong hands on experience in developing custom Interfaces with SAP Cloud Integration (HCI) along with configuring
standard content for Cloud Solutions for Ariba and Success Factors.
• Hands on experience in developing complex mapping (Graphical and Java), monitoring and troubleshooting. Excellent
software development skills in Java, understanding of JAVA, J2EE , Rest and SOAP based services as part of SAP cloud
platform.
• Working experience in various business scenarios (A2A and B2B) and experience in working on all major adapters.
• Experience with a complete project cycle from inception to completion.
• Experience as an SAP project manager or as a technical leader of sub-projects of enterprise-level initiatives.
• SAP certification
