PSE's IT Application Solutions team is looking for qualified candidates to fill an open Sr IT Security Analyst - SAP position!

Job Description

Puget Sound Energy, Bellevue, WA seeks Senior IT Security Analysts - SAP, responsible for Planning and implementing security and integrity controls over SAP systems and maintaining and enforcing SAP security policies and procedures including use of SAP ECC BI XI/PI Fiori, SAP Vertex CRM Remedy and SAP GRC 10.1. 

Job Responsibilities

Translating simple functional requirements into technical design for SAP security roles and assisting with the strategy for design, deployment and maintenance of SA security architecture and implementing role changes as per audit requirements.  Supporting efforts to define overall SAP security model for existing and future application implementations to include SAP Application Security development administration in R3/BW.  Providing production support of the SAP systems to execute lights on activities, bug fixes, small and medium enhancements.  Researching and evaluating new SAP security technologies to be sued as point or enterprise solutions for project initiatives and performing gap analysis to identify alternate solutions specific to SA security requirements.  Developing, performing unit tests and maintaining SAP position-based security roles utilizing structural authorizations.  Assessing and reporting upon impact any ramifications of proposed security changes and providing clarifications to external and international audit teams - SOX.  Supporting architectural framework for security and key integration components with Enterprise Portal, Active Directory/LDAP and HR Systems to include SAP XI and PI security administration and Basis Administration.   Recognizing subtle changes or problems in the design or performance of highly complex applications or systems and intervening flexibly/creatively to improve performance to performing transactions using su24 and se93 in ECC environments.

Minimum Qualifications

Requires Bachelor’s (or foreign educ. equiv.) Degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field and Five (5) yrs. (post-degree, progressive) experience in the Job Offered or related occupation.  Experience must have included SAP Application Security Development and administration in R3 / BW; SAP XI and PI security administration and Basis Administration;  Providing clarifications to external and internal audit teams to ensure SOX compliance; User Creation, Deletion, Restriction of regular and temporary user id’s authorizations; SAP ECC Security, SAP BW Security and in SAP BASIS Administration; Addressing Day to Day support activities and handling tickets without violating SLA; Perform transactions using su24 and se93 in ECC environments; Identify and resolve issues related to SAP Security, Role naming convention and approval process; and Use of technical tools SAP ECC BI XI/PI Fiori, SAP Vertex CRM Remedy, SAP GRC 10.1.
