Job Description
Puget Sound Energy’s Transformation, Strategy & Enablement (TSE) team is seeking a Senior Enterprise Performance Analyst to develop advanced analytics, build performance dashboards, and deliver actionable insights across the business. This role partners with stakeholders to gather requirements, create analytical models, and build minimum viable product (MVP) solutions that can be refined through iterative development.
The senior will maintain a suite of 25+ Power BI/Fabric dashboards, guide KPI design and visualization standards, and support data integrations across PSE’s architecture—including SQI queries, APIs and data sources such as SAP BW/BI, flat files, and Data Lake environments.
This senior role leads enterprise wide performance analysis, delivers executive level insights, ensures data quality and analytical rigor, oversees high impact cross functional initiatives, and mentors junior analysts to strengthen PSE’s analytics capabilities.

Job Responsibilities
- Leads performance analysis initiatives to evaluate and improve organizational effectiveness and efficiency.
- Designs and implements performance measurement frameworks and dashboards.
- Develops advanced analytical models to measure performance against established key performance indicators (KPIs) and objectives.
- Ensures enterprise adherence to visual management standards.
- Uses sophisticated analytics and statistical methods to study and analyze available data and to determine trends, root cause, metrics, and leading and lagging indicators.
- Mentors and trains junior analysts on data analysis techniques and best practices.
- Presents complex data findings and insights to senior management and stakeholders.
- Uses data analysis to create performance metrics that align with company goals.
- Collaborates with various departments to identify performance improvement opportunities and strategies.
- Stays current on industry trends, methodologies, and tools to enhance data analysis and reporting.
- Conducts, peer reviews of queries and dashboards.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, data analytics, engineering, statistics, economics or other related field; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Five (5) years of experience in a performance analyst role combining, manipulating, analyzing and visualizing different data sets to drive business decisions. Tools may include Access, Tableau, Power BI, Excel, Business Objects, or SAP Query Designer.
- Ability to work with data analysis tools and programming languages (e.g., SQL, Python, and/or R).
- Excellent analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience in understanding business process relationship with data analysis and metrics.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to distill complex solutions and ideas to influence and enable stakeholder decision-making.
- Ability to work effectively to tight deadlines in a fast paced environment on multiple projects.
- Demonstrated ability to take initiative and work both independently and as a part of a team to drive results.
- Experience coaching, training, or mentoring.
- Ability to prepare and present data to executive leadership in a 1-3-10 format.
Desired Qualifications
- Master’s degree in business administration, data analytics, engineering, statistics, economics, or other related field.
- Green Belt Certification in Lean Six Sigma or other process improvement methodologies or equivalent experience and education.
- Outstanding attention to detail, problem solving, organization, and “system thinking” skills.
- Utility industry experience.

The pay range for this position is $94,300.00 - $156,900.00, and this position is eligible for annual goals based incentive bonuses.
