PSE's IT Project Management Office team is looking for qualified candidates to fill an open IT Quality Assurance Engineer position!

Job Description

The IT Shared Services Test Engineering team is looking for a talented and technical focused Test Engineer to join our team.


This role is key towards providing superior quality and test services across a diverse and vibrant Enterprise landscape (infrastructure, products, and technologies). Your technical and testing expertise are critical towards ensuring quality solution delivery across the Enterprise.  In this role, you can make a difference each and every day!


Job Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute test strategies and plans for projects spanning multiple technologies and platforms, ensuring successful project delivery.
  • Communicates regularly with business and IT development teams to define test plans, schedules, processes and cases.
  • Translates system requirements and specifications into test requirements.
  • Develops and executes test cases and collaborates in automating of test scripts.
  • Participates in the development and adoption of quality standards, processes, tools and methodologies.
  • Identifies test environment requirements, including data sources (extraction, creation, manipulation), files and tables.
  • Influence quality throughout the entire application life cycle, applying test discipline and engineering best practices (SAP, agile, CI/CD, automation, cloud, mobile) to improve quality and drive towards building quality into the development process.
  • Provides budget and timeline information.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree and 2 years of experience in related field, or combination of specialized training or experience and two years of directly relevant experience.
  • Solid capabilities in test automation design, development and execution concepts across different testing cycles (HP QC and PC) across operational and corporate functional areas.
  • Experience with ERP, client-service and mobile testing.
  • Knowledge of black box and white box testing, and a strong understanding of and experience with SQA methodologies, techniques and approaches.
  • Experience with SQL.
  • Detail-oriented and sensitive to how the details work within a whole system.
  • Solid understanding of QA methodologies and how to adapt them to the specific needs of our organization and products.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Solid verbal and written communication skills.
  • Must be able to work independently to develop and implement operational programs.
  • Strong desire to deliver an excellent customer experience.
  • Good scripting skills and experience.
  • Must be a “team player” able to work with management in developing and implementing new processes and enabling systems. Able to work with end user groups to define testing solutions.
  • Proactive, self-motivated with the ability to motivate others and a customer-focused service attitude.
  • Good organizational skills, with the ability to meet objectives and effectively multi-task.

Desired Qualifications

  • Experience with SAP or Data/ETL testing.
  • Experience with mobile testing, mobile test platforms and automation.
  • Experience with performance or automated testing techniques and frameworks with preference to experience with Tricentis Tosca/LiveCompare, Selenium, or Neotys/NeoLoad.
  • Experience working with agile methodologies, applying principles and concepts to improve efficiency, productivity and quality
