PSE's Customer Energy Mgmt & Renewables team is looking for qualified candidates to fill an open EES Program Manager position!

Job Description

Identifies, develops, and implements strategies to meet program and product goals. Ensures program and product initiatives are consistent and leveraged with other PSE offerings. Evaluates and implements appropriate marketing mix for program campaigns in consultation with marketing staff.  Works closely with a variety of internal departments to implement programs.  Develops and enhances relationships with external constituents to gain awareness, participation and support of programs and initiatives. This job is distinguished from the Program Coordinator by scope of work and complexity of programs. Programs typically involve multiple products, vendors and budgets ranging in several millions of dollars.

Upholds the safety compliance standards inherent in PSE’s operating and/or field procedures related to work responsibilities. Promotes and supports a culture of total safety.

Job Responsibilities

  • Develops and manages specific programs being offered by the company.
  • Provides regular status reports to market managers on the performance and effectiveness of the programs in place.
  • Collaboratively works with other PSE departments and outside agencies to perform programmatic implementation.
  • Manages all contracts with outside services.
  • Produces, manages, tracks, and reports progress and forecasts of program budgets and goals.
  • Provides expertise regarding market conditions in relationship to program success factors.
  • Performs program development and analysis of target markets and development of promotional campaigns.
  • Creates budget, targets and work plans.
  • Has overall responsibility for the management and execution of the RFP process relating to specific programs.
  • Prepares reports for internal and external communications.
  • Performs product evaluation and analysis.
  • Manages multiple external clients – Master Builder Associations.
  • Works with senior management to maintain efficiency across channels.
  • May provide input to market manager regarding program team performance.
  • May provide training and development of team members, as needed, to support program objectives.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

  • 5 years of experience in a program coordination and/or management.
  • Knowledge of accounting, finance, and/or mathematics principles.
  • Ability to bring together various resources to work together collaboratively.
  • Experience coordinating and managing relationships with outside vendors.
  • Experience with trade organizations and/or community outreach.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Excellent communication, organization, presentation and analytical skills.
  • Advanced-level knowledge of MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

Desired Qualifications

  • BA/BS in marketing, business, engineering, or equivalent experience.
  • Experience working in the utility industry.
