PSE's Corporate Communications team is looking for qualified candidates to fill an open Sr Business Analyst position!

Job Description

Develops and leads performance tracking, measurement and reporting for PSE’s Clean Energy Implementation Plan Customer Education and Engagement program and equity-focused communications efforts. Demonstrates knowledge of and support for internal and external reporting; performs data analysis to measure performance and identify efficiency opportunities; develops and maintains business rules for functions and processes; participates in collaborative teamwork efforts to improve day-to-day operations. 

Upholds the safety compliance standards inherent in PSE’s operating and/or field procedures related to work responsibilities. Promotes and supports a culture of total safety.

Demonstrates commitment to conduct business honestly, ethically and consistent with our core values and Code of Conduct. Ensures duties are performed in accordance with all regulatory compliance obligations.

Job Responsibilities

  • Initiates, leads, and performs analysis and provides recommendations involving complex business problems
  • Reports and tracks performance metrics on customer engagement for the Clean Energy Implementation Plan Customer Education and Engagement program, including database and dashboard design in partnership with PSE’s Customer Insights team.
  • Performs data gathering and share out on regulatory data requests.
  • Processes and coordinates contracts, invoices, financial budget tracking and reporting for the Clean Energy Implementation Plan Customer Education and Engagement program, and Contracts support.
  • Creates centralized budget and invoice management, oversees contracts, tracking and support related to Clean Energy Implementation Plan Customer Education and Engagement program and other related communications efforts.
  • Standardize KPIs for performance measurement and optimization across programs, along with definitions. 
  • Identifying and bridging gaps for understanding campaign and marketing performance among programs, products and systems.
  • Liaison with agencies and internal teams on Program’s paid performance and campaign optimization.
  • Routinely applies process improvement methodologies to business processes and procedures.
  • Performs emergency and storm duties. 
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, accounting or related field, or an equivalent combination of education and/or work experience
  • 5 years work experience as an analyst
  • In-depth knowledge of systems and processes crucial to department operations.
  • Strong problem solving and analytical skills in a complex environment, with exceptional PC skills using Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, SAP and CIS. 
  • Strong time management and organizational skills. Able to work independently in a fast-paced environment and prioritize assignments.
  • Strong customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills with the ability to work well in a multi-team environment.
  • Effective written and oral communication skills.

Desired Qualifications

  • Understanding of customer engagement, marketing and communications performance metrics and customer insights
  • Knowledge of internal process flows and the effects to other departments.
  • Working knowledge of filed rates and tariffs.
  • Knowledge of process improvement methodology.
  • Ability to create a positive work environment.
  • Experience with utility regulation or energy policy.

The pay range for this position is $73,900.00  - $122,900.00, and this position is eligible for annual goals based incentive bonuses.
