PSE's Performance Excellence team is looking for qualified candidates to fill an open Senior Performance Analyst of Process Improvement position!

Job Description

Plays a lead role in analyzing, trending, forecasting, and tracking business area performance in support of business transformation initiatives that result in organizational change. Uses process improvement techniques to understand the inputs, outputs and overall end-to-end business processes. Directs statistical, financial, or operational studies to support initiatives and may lead process improvement and change management support of large and medium sized projects. May train others on process improvement and change management practices and techniques.


Upholds the safety compliance standards inherent in PSE’s operating and/or field procedures related to work responsibilities. Promotes and supports a culture of total safety.

Job Responsibilities

  • Works with leadership and business areas to evaluate requirements, develop and present strategic and tactical recommendations and may implement data driven decisions and strategies.
  • May mentor staff and other team members:
    • May provide input on performance reviews.
    • Provides coaching, direction and support to team members in order to achieve employee, business and customer results.
  • Trains, mentors, coaches and challenges leaders, project sponsors/champions, project team members and all employees in the use of various organizational change management strategies and techniques to raise awareness and desire of effective planning and execution throughout the organization.
  • Participates in emergency response efforts as needed.
  • Performs other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering or technology; or equivalent combination of relevant education and/or experience.
  • 5 years’ experience leading and utilizing process improvement or change management techniques/tools.
  • Demonstrated passion for continuous improvement.
  • Ability to work effective to tight deadlines in a fast paced environment on multiple projects.
  • Ability to take initiative and work both independently and as a part of a team to drive results.
  • Strong coaching and influencing skills.
  • Experience managing small projects and teams to achieve a business need.
  • Excellent communication skills at all levels with the ability to present information in a professional manner.
  • Ability to prepare and present to the director/executive level.
  • Ability to influence others and move toward a common vision and/or goal.

Desired Qualifications

  • Graduate degree/coursework
  • Experience/certification in both structured and informal process improvement or change management methodologies.
  • Experience in large-scale organizational change efforts.
  • Knowledge of project management methodologies and applications.
  • Knowledge of change management methodologies and applications.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence without authority.
  • Experience facilitating.
