PSE's Energy Resource Development team is looking for qualified candidates to fill an open Energy Resource Governance Documentation Manager position!

Job Description

Performs documentation, governance, and project management functions to support energy resource development activities. Assists in the end-to-end process of project development, analytics, and decision-making for energy resource projects. Works closely with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure projects are developed in accordance with the organization's stage gate process.

 

Serves as the administrator and product owner of the team's Airtable documentation system, advancing platform functionality, reporting capabilities, governance, and user adoption while ensuring compliance with records retention requirements. Evaluates, pilots, and implements AI and automation tools to improve team productivity, documentation quality, and knowledge management. Supports management decision-making through preparation of senior leadership, executive, and Board-level materials.

Job Responsibilities

  • Governance & Documentation Support 
    • Acts as an expert resource on PSE's energy resource development process, documentation standards, and analytics tools.
    • Maintains the official record of development activities, assumptions, key decisions, approvals, and project artifacts.
    • Ensures Energy Resource Development maintains complete, accurate, and auditable documentation of project activities and management decisions.
    • Partners with management to establish, maintain, and improve documentation governance standards and best practices.
    • Serves as administrator and product owner for the team's Airtable platform, including development, governance, reporting, training, and user support.
    • Ensures compliance with SharePoint records management and document retention requirements.
    • Evaluates, pilots, and deploys AI and automation tools to improve team workflows, documentation practices, and knowledge management.
  • Analytics
    • Researches, validates, and documents major project assumptions.
    • Performs analytical assignments of low to moderate complexity.
    • Supports development teams by organizing, documenting, and validating project-related data and analyses.
    • Assists with preparation of materials supporting project evaluations and management decisions.
  • Stakeholder Communication 
    • Facilitates communication and information flow throughout the project development lifecycle.
    • Supports cross-functional collaboration to ensure consistent documentation and alignment of project information.
  • Reporting and Portfolio Management
    • Maintains project records, dashboards, reports, and metrics to track status, milestones, risks, and key decisions.
    • Prepares regular reports and presentations for senior leadership and executive management. 
    • Supports regulatory filings, hearings, and responses to requests from regulatory agencies.  
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in english, language & literature, engineering, finance, economics, business administration or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Three (3) years of relevant experience such as a technical communication, documentation management or project management.
  • Strong analytical, interpretive, problem-solving, and conceptual skills for single or multiple technical areas.
  • Demonstrated experience facilitating cross functional technical teams to ensure successful delivery of projects.
  • Excellent organizational skills.
  • Exceptional oral and written communication skills. 
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Good problem solving and conflict resolution skills.

Desired Qualifications

  • Experience with document management, workflow, database, or collaboration platforms such as Airtable, SharePoint, Power Platform, or similar tools.
  • Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel and PowerPoint. 
  • Experience working with data and analysis.
  • Experience in the utility, oil, gas or independent power sector.
  • Experience in project management, governance, and documentation.
  • Experience developing dashboards, executive reporting, or portfolio reporting tools.
  • Experience administering Airtable, SharePoint, Power Platform, or similar business systems. 
  • Experience evaluating or implementing AI, automation, or workflow improvement tools.

The pay range for this position is $82,000.00 - $136,300.00, and this position is eligible for annual goals based incentive bonuses.
