PSE's Planning team is looking for qualified candidates to fill an open Assoc Real Estate Rep position!

Job Description

Supports and is generally focused on routine real estate activities associated with new customer construction (NCC) projects. Uses public and company records to research and determine ownership, operating rights, and other real property issues. Prepares correspondence and basic real estate documents.


Upholds the safety compliance standards inherent in PSE’s operating and/or field procedures related to work responsibilities. Promotes and supports a culture of total safety.

Job Responsibilities
  • Coordinates new customer construction (NCC) real estate activities with PSE’s service providers.
  • Prepares, reviews and interprets legal documents and correspondence, particularly in support of NCC projects.
  • Performs research and analysis of public and company records.
  • Prepares correspondence regarding real estate activities.
  • Prepares routine Limited Use Permits/Consent Agreements.
  • Acquires routine operating rights.
  • Responds to internal and external customer real estate inquiries.
  • Supports real estate records maintenance.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent, and valid driver’s license.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Working knowledge of MS Office suite, specifically Outlook, Word and Excel.
  • Ability to read and interpret information such as public records or contracts.
Desired Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Demonstrated understanding of appraisal, engineering, law and negotiations principles/terms.
  • Working knowledge of PSE gas/electric systems, procedures and internal contacts.
  • Experience with title research and reading/writing real property legal descriptions.
  • Successful completion of IRWA Course 100, 201 or equivalent courses.
