PSE's Corporate Shared Services team is looking for qualified candidates to fill an open Assoc Real Estate Rep position!

Job Description

The Associate Real Estate Rep supports and is generally focused on routine real estate activities associated with new customer construction (NCC) projects. This individual uses public and company records to research and determine ownership, operating rights, and other real property issues. Additionally, this individual prepares correspondence and basic real estate documents.

 

The Associate Real Estate Rep is responsible for upholding the safety compliance standards inherent in PSE’s operating and/or field procedures related to work responsibilities, as well as promoting and supporting a culture of total safety. This individual demonstrates a commitment to conduct business honestly, ethically and consistent with our core values and Code of Conduct and ensures duties are performed in accordance with all regulatory compliance obligations.

Job Responsibilities

  • Coordinate new customer construction (NCC) real estate activities with PSE’s service providers.
  • Prepare, review and interpret legal documents and correspondence, particularly in support of NCC projects.
  • Perform research and analysis of public and company records.
  • Prepare correspondence regarding real estate activities.
  • Prepare routine Limited Use Permits/Consent Agreements.
  • Acquire routine operating rights.
  • Respond to internal and external customer real estate inquiries.
  • Support real estate records maintenance.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent, and valid driver’s license.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Working knowledge of MS Office suite, specifically Outlook, Word and Excel.
  • Ability to read and interpret information such as public records or contracts.

Desired Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Demonstrated understanding of appraisal, engineering, law and negotiations principles/terms.
  • Working knowledge of PSE gas/electric systems, procedures and internal contacts.
  • Experience with title research and reading/writing real property legal descriptions.
  • Successful completion of IRWA Course 100, 201 or equivalent courses.

The pay range for this position is $57,300.00 - $89,000.00, and this position is eligible for annual goals based incentive bonuses.
