PSE's Engineering Operations team is looking for qualified candidates to fill an open Supervisor Maps & Records position!

Job Description
Supervises and coaches team(s) responsible for maintaining the operational maps and records of PSE. Assists department manager in development of resource plans, department budgets, and department goals and objectives. Plans, supervises and facilitates operations to achieve workload, accuracy, productivity, budget and staffing level targets. Participates in collaborative efforts to continually improve day-to-day operations. Reviews processes and documentation to ensure compliance with standards. Supports emergency response operations as needed.
Upholds the safety compliance standards inherent in PSE’s operating and/or field procedures related to work responsibilities. Promotes and supports a culture of total safety. Demonstrates commitment to conduct business honestly, ethically and consistent with our core values and Code of Conduct. Ensures duties are performed in accordance with all regulatory compliance obligations.
Job Responsibilities
- Employee Safety, Development & Team Building - Provides employees with coaching, feedback, and developmental opportunities and building effective teams:
- Demonstrates a passion for safety. Promotes and supports a culture of total safety including eliminating at-risk behaviors by conducting safety audits and inspections, eliminating hazards and near misses, and attending safety meetings.
- Sets clear expectations and holds employees accountable for performance as well as safety goals/targets where applicable.
- Oversees training and development of employees directly and indirectly managed and makes effective staffing decisions. Ensures required training is successfully completed.
- Challenges and inspires employees to achieve business results.
- Accountable to ensure employees adhere to legal and operational compliance requirements, as well as safety standards.
- Conducts and ensures the completion of performance reviews.
- Provides coaching, direction and leadership support to team members in order to achieve employee, business, customer and safety results.
- Responsible for workload resource balancing.
- Plans and develops budgets with appropriate documentation; oversees the reviews of expenditures and preparation of operating budgets.
- Ensures compliance with codes, standards as well as with design, operations and maintenance requirements.
- Works in partnership with internal departments towards continuous improvement of processes and procedures; oversees and streamlines interfaces with service providers.
- Works with Corporate Records Management regarding document/records management systems and oversees that agreements and commitments are met; works with IT on functional and technical assessments of existing document management system to improve customer experience
- Provides Timely, Accurate and Actionable Data That Supports Business Performance and Quality Assurance:
- Produces reports, queries, metrics, dashboards and analysis
- Responsible for data integrity, quality assurance, security and supporting data administration
- Analytical consultative and decision support to operational leadership
- Implements data-driven decisions and strategies
- Develops tools and/or coordinates data extractions from various databases and sources
- Application of SAP, BW, Cognos
- Ensures compliance with collective bargaining agreement policies as it relates to personnel
- Ensures compliance with procedures (FERC/WUTC); regulatory support
- Supports emergency response work as requested including immediate and extended restoration efforts driven by weather and other system failures.
- Promotes safe work practices to achieve safety goals.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
- Associate degree or equivalency in general studies (experience in lieu of education may be considered)
- Excellent customer relations skills including problem solving and conflict resolution
- Excellent communications skills
- Leadership experience
- Proficiency in Excel, Access, Word and PowerPoint
Desired Qualifications
- Knowledge of applicable Collective Bargaining Agreement and application of rules
- Bachelor’s degree
- Utility experience (records management, engineering, operations or mapping)
- Leadership training

The pay range for this position is $80,800.00 - $195,400.00, and this position is eligible for annual goals based incentive bonuses.
