PSE's Corporate Shared Services team is looking for qualified candidates to fill an open Facility Maintenance Planner position!

Job Description
The Facility Maintenance Planner is responsible for planning, organizing, prioritizing, and communicating building maintenance and support activities for planned, unplanned and emergency work. This individual provides oversight and coordination of associated internal and external resources including vendors and contractors.
This role is relied upon to focus on Service Provider performance quality and leading building audits to document and determine KPIs affecting contractor payments, field investigations with engineers and builders, such as roof leak studies and root cause, enforcing service matrix duties especially in the janitorial and landscaping contracts, and working with technicians on engineered solutions to optimize the balance of safety, durability and cost.
This individual will uphold the safety compliance standards inherent in PSE’s operating and/or field procedures related to work responsibilities. Additionally, they will promote and support a culture of total safety.
Job Responsibilities
- Coordinate daily facility maintenance activities and emergency response work at all PSE locations.
- Oversee service providers to ensure service level agreements are maintained and followed. Contracts include but are not limited to, janitorial, landscape, fences and gates, pest control and electrical.
- Prioritize communications, coordinate with facility/personnel, and dispatch appropriate service provider(s). Provide on-location/facility oversight when necessary.
- Ensure accurate recording and maintenance of contracts, invoices and associated documentation.
- Act as liaison with service providers with regards to outstanding issues and follow-on activities.
- Track, review, analyze, organize, and maintain essential documents to support building maintenance at various locations.
- Conduct office and field research to determine compliance with contracts and maintenance standards.
- Assist in the preparation of cost estimates and work scheduling. Track and document completion of scheduled work.
- Support policies, procedure and consistent communication to ensure compliance with related standards including NERC, CIP and company safety standards.
- Respond to related call-outs during storm and emergency situations.
- Coordinate with other PSE departments, as required, to meet maintenance requirements and timelines.
- Available to respond to emergencies/call-outs, during non-standard times.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Sciences or Technical Field based on the physical sciences or an equivalent combination of education and/or work experience.
• 3 years experience related to building/facility management or construction.
• Ability to read drawings, interpret contracts, understand building codes (fire & safety), inspect work quality in the field, enforce contract duties performance quality expectations.
• Proficiency in MS office software.
• Effective communication skills.
• Washington state driver’s license.
Desired Qualifications
• Direct experience in building maintenance, BOMA certification.
• NERC certification.
• Building construction / maintenance training.
• Project management skills.
• Mechanical aptitude.
• Knowledge of building systems.

The pay range for this position is $74,000.00 - $111,900.00, and this position is eligible for annual goals based incentive bonuses.
