PSE's Customer Init & Continuous Improvement team is looking for qualified candidates to fill an open Sr Change Management Advisor position!

Job Description

The Senior Change Management Advisor leads change management strategy, planning and execution for key initiatives, working closely with project team members, sponsors, change champions, end users and other stakeholders. The Senior Change Management Advisor also supports the Change Management Office’s (CMO) goals and initiatives in order to mature change management capability across the organization, optimize the employee experience, and improve the success of change initiative outcomes at PSE.

Job Responsibilities

  • Own change management strategy and execution for key strategic projects and internal transformations. Primary activities include: 
    • lead and execute change impact analysis
    • assess change readiness
    • identify key stakeholders
    • sponsor alignment
    • risk assessment, 
    • coordination with leadership
    • documentation of lessons learned
    • general execution of change management plans that deliver business case objectives and goals
  • Support communication efforts, working alone or with the communication teams members to develop project communications
  • Support training efforts, working with Operational Training team to assess requirements, design training and ensure alignment with change management approach  
  • Identify and accountable for achieving people related project benefits Applies a structured methodology for change management activities
  • Uses a change management process and tools to create a strategy to support adoption of the changes required by a project or initiative.
  • Provide ongoing training and coaching around change management practices to leadership and project managers to help them drive sustainable change
  • Leads change agent networks/community of change champions and leverage informal leaders to influence successful organizational change 
  • Facilitate focus groups and working sessions with diverse stakeholder groups  
  • Exercises judgment in selecting methods, techniques and evaluation criteria for obtaining results. 
  • Decide on appropriate change interventions given the level and complexity of the impact
  • Decide when to raise appropriate issues and risks
  • Make appropriate recommendations to mitigate change health risks
  • Works with other central services provided within the organization to achieve results: Process Improvement, Automation, Operational Training, Project Practices.
  • Support the CMO with building enterprise capability through delivering on goals and objectives. 
  • Builds relationships and networks that extend throughout the company. Shares knowledge with team members.
  • Performs other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering or technology; or equivalent combination of relevant education and/or experience.
  • 5 years’ experience leading and utilizing process improvement or change management techniques/tools.
  • Demonstrated passion for continuous improvement.
  • Ability to work effective to tight deadlines in a fast paced environment on multiple projects.
  • Ability to take initiative and work both independently and as a part of a team to drive results.
  • Strong coaching and influencing skills.
  • Experience managing small projects and teams to achieve a business need.
  • Excellent communication skills at all levels with the ability to present information in a professional manner.
  • Ability to prepare and present to the director/executive level.
  • Ability to influence others and move toward a common vision and/or goal.

Desired Qualifications

  • Graduate degree/coursework
  • Experience/certification in both structured and informal process improvement or change management methodologies.
  • Experience in large-scale organizational change efforts.
  • Knowledge of project management methodologies and applications.
  • Knowledge of change management methodologies and applications.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence without authority.
  • Experience facilitating.
  • Lean practices certification or designation.
  • Prior management consulting experience
  • Marketing communications experience
